Aircraft Registration Act 2010

The Aircraft Registration Act, 2010, has come into force with effect from 1 October 2010.

The Act comprehensively regulates the registration of aircraft and aircraft mortgages, introduces rules on special privileges on aircraft and implements the Cape Town Convention. The Act also provides for the eligibility of persons to register aircraft which are not engaged in air services.
